The SEO screen gathers everything hurting your visibility in search into one list: a product with no title, a category whose description duplicates another, a product in no category at all, an unreachable sitemap. The scan is free and ships with every plan; opening the screen re-runs it automatically when the last one is over ten minutes old. You can fix findings by hand, or hand the writeable ones to AI.

## Antes de empezar

- An admin account with the products:read permission
- A live storefront address — the audit really does fetch your sitemap and robots.txt
- The AI Features plugin and an AI credit balance for the AI fixer
- The SEO Tools plugin for the keyword research screen

## Pasos

### 1. Open the SEO screen and run the scan {#adim-1}

Pazarlama → SEO shows your store SEO score, broken down across products, categories, pages and store-wide checks. The date of the last scan sits at the top, or a note that it has never been scanned. The rescan button re-reads the whole catalogue plus store-level files such as the sitemap and robots.txt, and reports how many records it covered.

### 2. Start with the most repeated issues {#adim-2}

The top-issues block shows how many records share the same fault; click one and the list below filters to it. The filters let you narrow to products, categories, pages or store-wide checks, and to a single rule instead of all of them. The table lists the record, its type, its score and its issues, with a fix shortcut at the end of each row. Every issue is marked high, medium or low priority.

### 3. Fill in the product and category SEO fields {#adim-3}

The fix shortcut takes you to the record's edit page. Its SEO block holds the SEO title and SEO description; leave them empty and the name and description are used instead, which Google usually truncates. The counter underneath names the ideal range and warns when you pass it. Never reuse a title: pages carrying the same title compete with each other in search results.

### 4. Read the page SEO scan {#adim-4}

The page scan on the same screen audits the real content of every indexable page: meta title and description, H1, heading order, image alt text and content length. Results arrive with a page, status, score and issue list, and issues are split into critical, warning and info. Pages whose content comes from the theme are marked as theme-rendered and are not scored — there is no section to edit on them.

### 5. Run a bulk AI fix {#adim-5}

With the AI plugin you can start a run from a single row or from the fix-all button at the top. The confirmation dialog splits the work in two: items marked as auto-written are rewritten by AI directly, while the ones you have to do yourself (an image, a category, robots.txt) get a step-by-step action plan instead. Every change is stored with its previous value and can be reverted from the report page.

### 6. Close the store-wide findings {#adim-6}

Filtering to the store-wide checks surfaces findings about the site rather than the catalogue. An unreachable sitemap means the file search engines use to discover your pages is not answering. A robots.txt blocking the whole site is the most expensive one: the store looks perfectly fine and is nonetheless erased from search results. Do not shrug off products in no category either — an uncategorised product is reachable only from the sitemap and is invisible to anyone browsing.

### 7. Redirect old addresses to the new pages {#adim-7}

When a product or page moves, the old address stays indexed in Google and visitors land on a 404. Under Ürünler → URL Yönlendirmeleri add a rule with the old URL and the target path; the old URL must start with a slash. Use 301 (Kalıcı) for permanent moves and 302 (Geçici) for temporary ones. The hits column shows which old address still draws traffic, and large rule sets can be exported to and imported from Excel.

## Consejos

### Never copy the same text onto two records

The duplicate-title and duplicate-description findings appear the moment someone copy-pastes across the catalogue. Pages carrying the same title compete with each other in search results, and both end up ranking lower than either would alone. On products with variants, put something distinguishing in the title.

### An AI fix can change an address

Read the warning in the confirmation dialog: some fixes are visible to your customers because they rewrite product text or a page address. A changed slug gets an automatic redirect from the old one, so links do not break — but the campaign links you shared now travel through a redirect. A single run also processes a capped number of issues; start it again afterwards for the remainder.

## Preguntas frecuentes

### Do I need to buy a plugin for the SEO screen?

No. Scanning, scoring and the issue list are on for every store. Two things are paid: the AI fixer that writes the missing text needs the AI Features plugin, and the search volume and competitor analysis on Pazarlama → Anahtar Kelimeler need the SEO Tools plugin.

### Why does a scan start every time I open the screen?

If the cached audit is more than ten minutes old the screen rescans on open, so you are never reading stale numbers. Navigating away and back inside a session does not trigger another one. You can also run it by hand at any time.

### Why is one of my pages not scored?

Pages whose content comes from the theme's own template are marked as theme-rendered and are not scored — there is no section on them to edit. Pages with no sections at all show as having no content, and need content added before a score means anything.
