Creating a campaign and discount types

Set up a discount that applies automatically: pick percentage, fixed amount, buy-X-pay-Y or a build-your-own bundle, set the dates, and control stacking.

A campaign and a coupon are not the same thing, and confusing them makes both behave unexpectedly. A coupon is a code the customer types at checkout. A campaign needs no code: the moment a selected product enters the basket the discount applies by itself and the customer already sees the reduced price. This guide covers the campaign side — what each discount type does, how the date range works, and whether two campaigns can stack in one basket.

Antes de empezar

  • The Campaigns plugin enabled
  • The products you want to discount already in your catalogue
  • A panel user with permission to manage campaigns

Pasos

Las pantallas son ilustrativas; los datos de tu panel serán distintos.

  1. Paso 1: Create a new campaign

Pazarlama → Kampanyalar lists your campaigns with their type, value and status; with none it reads 'Kampanya bulunamadı'. 'Yeni Oluştur' in the header opens the form, and 'Sitede Görüntüle' next to it shows how campaigns look to customers in a new tab.

  2. Paso 2: Write the name and description

The general section asks only for a name and a description, and both are required. Unlike a coupon, both are shown to customers: the name appears on the product card and in the basket, the description on your storefront's campaign page. Write the name for a shopper to read, not for you to recognise in the panel.

  3. Paso 3: Pick the products the campaign covers

The products card appears while creating a campaign and decides what the discount touches. You add products one by one from the search box; with nothing chosen it reads 'Henüz ürün seçilmedi.' Your selection is attached when the campaign is saved — so a campaign saved with no products looks active in the list yet affects no basket at all.

These products will be attached when you create the campaign. Check them and add more if needed.

  4. Paso 4: Choose the discount type and value

'İndirim Türü' offers four options. Percentage takes the rate from the value field. Fixed takes an amount in ₺ from the same field. Buy X pay Y works from the two quantity fields — three for the price of two, for instance. The build-your-own bundle applies once the basket holds as many distinct campaign products as the minimum-items field says. 'Max İndirim Tutarı' caps a percentage discount, and 'Kullanım Limiti' is how many times the campaign may be used in total.

  5. Paso 5: With buy X pay Y, pick the return policy

Choosing buy X pay Y reveals an extra field, 'İade Politikası'. 'Grup İade' requires the whole campaign group to be returned together; 'Bireysel İade' lets the items be returned separately. Group return is what stops a customer keeping the free item and sending back the one they paid for — make it your default on this type of campaign.

  6. Paso 6: Set the dates and publish

The start and end dates in the schedule section are both required, and the campaign never applies outside that window. In the status card on the right, turn on the active switch. Directly below it, the combinable switch decides whether this campaign can run alongside other campaigns in the same basket. The image you upload is used on your storefront's campaign list.

Consejos

A non-combinable campaign switches the others off too

When a campaign with combinability turned off applies to a basket, it does not merely survive alone — every other campaign discount in that basket is dropped. If several non-combinable campaigns qualify, the one giving the largest total discount wins and the rest apply not at all. Reserve the switch for headline discounts that genuinely must stand alone.

'Minimum indirimli fiyat' is not a price floor

Despite the label, this field puts no lower bound on the discounted price. It is a minimum-spend threshold for the campaign to engage, measured as unit price × quantity on that line. Set it to 1,000 and a customer buying two ₺500 items qualifies while one buying a single item does not.

Preguntas frecuentes

What is the difference between a campaign and a coupon?
A coupon is a code — nothing happens until the customer types it into the coupon field. A campaign is automatic: the discount lands the moment the product enters the basket, with no code involved. Use a campaign for a discount you want to advertise, a coupon when you want to control who gets it.
What does the build-your-own bundle discount actually do?
It requires the basket to hold at least as many distinct campaign products as the minimum-items field says (two or more). Because the customer assembles the set themselves, it drives cross-selling without you having to build fixed bundles.
My campaign is not showing on the site — why?
Check four things in order: is the active switch on, is today inside the start and end dates, is at least one product attached, and has the usage limit been reached. A campaign saved with no products looks active in the list but touches no basket.
