Creating and attaching product forms
Define the option and spec fields each product type needs, attach the form to products, and set up the forms that collect extra buyer details.
A dining table and a pair of glasses cannot be described with the same fields: one needs wood type and dimensions, the other a prescription and a frame style. A product form lets you define the fields of a product type once and reuse that layout across every product of that type. The same plugin also runs the forms that collect extra information from the customer during an order, and the choices a buyer makes before adding to basket.

- An admin account with the products:read permission
- The product saved first — the form and options cards are locked on an unsaved product
Étapes
Les écrans sont illustratifs ; les données de votre panneau différeront.
Étape 1: Open the product forms list
Ürünler → Ürün Formları lists every form with its name, description, option-field count, spec-field count, filterable fields and how many products use it. That last column is the one that matters when you want to delete something. A form marked Varsayılan (default) is what new products open with, and it cannot be deleted. With no forms yet the screen invites you to create the first one.
Product forms
Define product types with their own fields, one per product category.

After Ürün Formu Oluştur, fill in the form name and description under Temel Bilgiler. The real work is the Seçenek Alanları card: these fields generate the variant combinations, and their order decides the selection hierarchy on the storefront. Each field takes a label and a display type (text or colour); switching on Filtrelenebilir lets shoppers filter by it. Add no option fields and variants are created by hand instead.

Product specs describe the product as a whole (material, warranty); variant specs are filled in per variant (weight, dimensions). Neither creates variants — they only carry information. Each field takes a label and a type — text, number, dropdown, toggle, colour, date, email or link — optionally a unit, and the 'show on menu' and 'filterable' switches. Press create when you are done.

Open a product under Ürünler → Tüm Ürünler and pick the form in the Ürün Formu field in the right-hand column. If the store only has one form, no picker appears at all and the product uses the default. Changing a product's form redraws its fields to the new layout, so check what a populated product carries before moving it to another type.

The Özel formlar card on the same product page collects free-form information from the customer — an engraving, a gift note, a measurement file. Create a form, give it a name, choose whether it appears on the product page or at checkout, and scope it to all variants or only selected ones. Fields take a label, a type and a required switch; the type list includes short text, dropdown, file upload, colour picker and money.

The Ürün Seçenekleri card makes the customer fill a box or pick from a menu before the product reaches the basket. Adding a group asks for its type: a quantity group is filled up to a target, a choice group asks for a set number of picks. Each option can carry a price delta, and 'deduct component stock' takes the chosen items out of their own stock at checkout.

Questions that belong to the whole order rather than one product live under Ayarlar. The checkout order form (Ayarlar → Ödeme formu) is asked once per order on the payment page — gift wrapping, a gift note. Ayarlar → Kayıt formu collects the extra details asked when a customer registers (tax number, trading name, documents), and Ayarlar → Teklif formu is what a visitor fills in when making an offer on a listing.

Conseils
You cannot delete a form that is in use
Trying to delete a form that products still use returns a message naming how many products it covers. The order is: reassign those products to another form first, then delete. And when you need a form close to an existing one, duplicate it from the list rather than rebuilding it from scratch.
Signup answers are frozen; product forms are not
Editing a custom form updates every place it is used — but the answers given on the signup form are stored once at registration and do not change when you later edit the form. Keep that in mind when reviewing wholesale applications: older applications carry the answers to the older questions.
Questions fréquentes
- What is the difference between option fields and product specs?
- Option fields generate variant combinations: define Colour and Size and the product gets a variant per combination, which the customer picks on the storefront. Product specs and variant specs are information fields only — they create no variants.
- What does the filterable switch do?
- Marking a field filterable lets shoppers narrow the product list by it on the storefront. Only turn it on for genuinely distinguishing fields; making every field a filter makes the list unusable.
- Product page or checkout step — how do I choose?
- If the answer differs per product, use the product page: an engraving is asked per line. If the answer is one per order, checkout is right — the checkout order form is collected once per order on the payment page.
