Creating a personalization audience

Define audiences from visitor, device, UTM and time conditions, then show, hide or swap any page-builder section for exactly those visitors.

Personalization is where you decide which part of a page each visitor sees: an introduction for a first-time visitor, a campaign strip for a returning one, a shorter band on mobile. You first define an audience — a named set of conditions — then attach any section in the page editor to it. Audiences are defined once and reused across every page, and there is no separate publish step: a change is live on the next request.

Pasos

Las pantallas son ilustrativas; los datos de tu panel serán distintos.

  1. Paso 1: Open the audiences page

Pazarlama → Kişiselleştirme lists your audiences; the page only reads, and creating or editing happens on its own screen. With none defined it reads 'Henüz kitle yok'. Start with 'Yeni kitle'. Each row shows whether the audience is active, its priority, and how many sections use it.

  2. Paso 2: Name the audience and write its conditions

The audience name is a label for you and your team, and the description is a note only you see. Under 'Koşullar' press 'Koşul ekle' and pick a visitor property: visitor status, visit count, device, signed-in, UTM source/medium/campaign, CRM segment, customer group, or a day/time window. An audience with no conditions matches nobody — add at least one before saving.

  3. Paso 3: Set the match rule and the priority

The match rule has two options: 'Tüm koşullar sağlanmalı' produces a narrow, precise audience, 'Koşullardan biri yeterli' a broad one. Priority decides which audience runs first when several match on the same section — the lower number runs first. Turn on 'Aktif' and save; the audience is usable the moment it is saved.

  4. Paso 4: Target a section in the page editor

Open the page under İçerik → Sayfalar, select a section and open the 'Kime gösterilecek?' panel on the right. With no rules it says the section is shown to everyone. Press 'Kural ekle', pick an audience and a behaviour: show only to this audience, hide from it, or show it different content. Rules are evaluated top to bottom, the first match wins, and a hide rule always takes precedence.

  5. Paso 5: Check where the audience is used

The audience detail carries a 'Nerede kullanılıyor' block listing every page, section and behaviour that uses it. Look here before deactivating or deleting: deactivating returns those sections to their default content immediately, and the panel tells you how many are affected. Deleting does not break your pages either — it only drops the rules.

  6. Paso 6: Read the exposure counts

The insights page lists, audience by audience, how many times personalized content was shown in the last 30 days. It is a health check rather than a results table: zero exposures means the rule matched nobody — usually conditions that are too narrow, or an inactive audience. Bot traffic and visitors who declined marketing cookies are excluded, so the real figure is always a little higher.

Consejos

A hide rule always wins

If one section carries both a show and a hide rule, hide is applied whatever their order. To keep a section away from an audience, one hide rule is enough — do not add a 'show to everyone' rule alongside it.

Design for the visitor who declined cookies

A visitor who declined marketing cookies always sees the default content. So a section's default state must never be empty or half-finished: the personalized version is a bonus, the default is the real page.

Preguntas frecuentes

Which rule wins if a section has several?
Rules are evaluated top to bottom and the first match applies; a hide rule always takes precedence. When different audiences match at the same time, their priority decides — the lower number runs first.
Will deleting an audience break my pages?
No. Sections that used it fall back to their default content and the page keeps working. The panel tells you how many sections are affected before you confirm.
Why can I not add a CRM segment condition?
With the CRM plugin off, segment conditions cannot be added and the panel says so. Targeting on visitor properties — status, device, UTM, time window — keeps working. The customer group condition likewise only appears when the store has groups defined.
