Courier Integrations

Hand the order to a courier, then just watch it

Motorbike courier delivery already works in every store. This plugin automates it: one tap sends the order to your courier company, shows the rider's live position, and writes the delivery status back onto the order itself.

Hand the order to a courier,

Courier delivery needs no plugin — automating it does

Every store can switch on the KURYE delivery option with no plugin at all, take the order and deliver it by hand. That has never changed and will not. The Courier Integrations plugin adds exactly one thing on top: handing the job to a courier company. Open the order, press 'Send to courier', and the company finds a rider for you; when one is assigned you see their name and live position, and when it is delivered the order status moves on its own. Instead of phoning for a courier and writing it on a notepad, the delivery becomes part of the order.

What the plugin does

One tap from the order
01

One tap from the order

A courier panel opens inside any courier-type order: pick the vehicle class and a note for the rider, then send. A second courier can never be called for the same shipment — a double click, a page refresh or a dropped connection will not put a second motorbike on the road.

Live tracking, automatic status
02

Live tracking, automatic status

Once a rider is assigned you see their name, phone and position on the map. Every status change from the courier company is written onto the order; if the connection drops, the system asks the company at regular intervals, so status never depends on a notification arriving.

Which of my orders are with a courier?

A courier filter on the orders screen: what is on the road right now, what could not be dispatched, and every order ever handed to a courier. If the company says 'no rider available', that order does not disappear — it waits in the filter and can be sent again.

Optional automatic dispatch
04

Optional automatic dispatch

If you want it, paid courier orders can go to the courier company automatically. It is OFF by default and stays that way: something that sends a real motorbike and charges you for it should be your decision, not a side effect.

How it works

Four steps from setup to first dispatch

About half an hour once your courier company has given you the details

1

Agree terms with a courier company

The company gives you a Client ID and Client Secret. For Vigo you can request them from integration@vigo.ist. This is an agreement between your store and them; you pay the delivery fee to the company.

2

Enter the details and test

Put them into Settings > Integrations > Courier and press 'Test connection'. Pointed at the sandbox address, no real courier is ever called — you can rehearse the whole flow safely.

3

Wait for your pickup point to be approved

Your branch (or your store's central address) is registered with the courier company automatically and has to be approved by them. That usually takes a business day, and the screen tells you which stage you are at.

4

Send the order to a courier

Once approved, open a courier order and press 'Send to courier'. You can then follow the rider's position, mark the parcel as prepared, or cancel the dispatch.

FAQ

Common questions

Before you start with courier integration

No. The KURYE delivery option is free in every store: switch it on under delivery options, take the order and move its status by hand. This plugin is only for handing the job to a courier company and automating the tracking.

Make delivery part of the order

You already have courier delivery. This plugin removes the phone calls, the manual status updates and the 'where is my rider?' questions.
