The coupon SMS was not sent. Why?

The panel states the reason. The three most common: no İYS consent has been given, the 'Kampanya Kuponu' template is switched off, and the customer is not registered for marketing SMS. Check the İYS consent box, that template on the Şablonlar page, and the customer's own consent state in that order.

Can I register İYS consent while on the platform account?

No. İYS registration only works when you have connected your own NetGSM account. To send marketing SMS from the platform account you must first switch to 'Kendi Hesabım' and enter your own NetGSM credentials.

I use Twilio — how does İYS work there?

It does not. Twilio has no İYS API, so İYS registration is only possible with NetGSM. Twilio suits international sending; if you will send marketing SMS inside Turkey, choose the NetGSM provider.

Setting up SMS and İYS consent

The SMS plugin sends order-received, shipped and delivered messages to the customer's phone, and can carry campaign coupons over the same channel. In Turkey those two are legally distinct: a transactional SMS may go to the customer who placed the order, while a commercial/marketing SMS may only be sent if the recipient's consent is registered in the national İleti Yönetim Sistemi (İYS). Half of this setup is about configuring that distinction correctly.

Step 1: Choose the sending mode
On SMS → Kurulum, 'Gönderim Modu' offers two options. With 'Kendi Hesabım' messages go straight from your own balance under your own sender name, and you manage the balance in your provider's panel. With 'Platform Hesabı' you send through Mağazamhazır's NetGSM account: you first get a sender header approved, then top up SMS credit.

Step 2: Create two NetGSM API sub-users
Skip this and half your traffic is rejected. NetGSM will not grant one sub-user both transactional and commercial content rights. Create two separate API sub-users in your NetGSM panel — one allowed to send informational SMS, one allowed to send commercial content only. The user code is the same for both; only the password differs.

Step 3: Enter the sender header and İYS brand code
'Gönderici Başlığı' is the 3-11 character approved header the customer sees as the sender. The 'İYS Marka Kodu' field is the key to the marketing side: fill it in and customers who opt into marketing SMS are registered with İYS automatically. Check the credentials with 'Doğrula' and press 'Kaydet'.

Step 4: On the platform account, submit a header request
In 'Platform Hesabı' mode, if you have no header of your own you fill in the 'Gönderici Başlığı Talebi' form: requested header (uppercase and digits only), company type, legal company title and tax/ID number. Upload your company documents, such as a tax certificate, and press 'Başlık Talebi Gönder'. The request moves from pending review to submitted to the operator and finally approved.

Step 5: Tick the İYS consent box
At the bottom of the setup page, the 'İYS Onayı' section is where you declare that you hold the required commercial electronic message permissions and comply with İYS rules. Without it no marketing SMS is sent — a coupon SMS attempt returns 'SMS gönderilmedi: İYS onayı verilmemiş'. Order notifications work independently of this box.

Step 6: Enable the SMS templates and write the copy
On SMS → Şablonlar each template sits in its own card, not in a list. The card title is the template name, the line beneath it is the 'İşlemsel' or 'Pazarlama' label, and the switch in its top-right corner turns that template on or off; a template whose text you have edited also carries an 'Özelleştirildi' pill. While writing the body, click the variable chips underneath to insert store name, order code or tracking code. Watch the character/segment counter under the text: anything over 160 characters is billed as a second SMS. Use 'Test Gönder' to try it on your own number.

Step 7: Sync İYS registrations and watch what is sent

SMS → Kayıtlı Numaralar shows each customer's İYS consent state. 'Senkronize Et' registers newly consenting customers with İYS; 'İYS ile Karşılaştır' compares your record against İYS's answer and heals the differences. Every message sent is listed on SMS → SMS Kayıtları with its status and cost.

Tips

An empty brand code switches İYS off entirely

Leave 'İYS Marka Kodu' blank and no customer is ever registered with İYS; campaigns then rest on your own declaration alone. Even with complete NetGSM credentials, that one field silently disables the whole marketing lane.

'Tümünü Kaydet' is a legal declaration

That button also registers customers who never gave explicit consent — those merely treated as opted in by your store's default — as CONSENT in İYS. Under Turkish law 6563 this means you are declaring that you hold their commercial message permission. Do not register numbers you cannot evidence.
