Bulk product import from Excel (Smart Import)
Upload your Excel file, let AI map the columns, and import hundreds of products with their variants into your store in a single pass.
Smart Import reads your Excel file and uses AI to guess what each column is: which is the product name, which is price, which is a variant axis. Your job is to confirm and correct the guesses. It recognises marketplace templates (Trendyol, Hepsiburada) automatically, and in that case runs without spending AI credit.
Before you start
- A product list in Excel (.xlsx)
- Column headers in the first row — most of the AI's accuracy comes from these
- Enough AI credit balance for AI analysis (continuing without AI is also possible)
Steps
Screens are illustrative; the data in your own panel will differ.
Step 1: Upload the file
In İçe Aktarma → Akıllı İçe Aktarma, drag the file in or click to browse. If it matches a known marketplace template the panel says so and analysis proceeds free.

AI assigns a role to every column: product name, sale price, stock, barcode, category, option axis (variant). Each row shows sample values and how full the column is; fix wrong guesses from the dropdown and set unwanted columns to 'do not use'.
Step 2/5Column mapping
Column Filled Samples Role PRODUCT NAME 100% Leather boot, Suede boot Product name PRICE 100% 2450, 2590 Sale price SIZE 98% 38, 40, 41 Option axis (variant) QTY 94% 4, 7, 0 Stock SUPPLIER 12% — Do not use The AI's reasoning is visible on each row.

The product group key column decides which variants belong to which product. If three sizes of one boot should sit under one product, all three rows need the same group key. Without it every row becomes its own product — the single most common bulk-import mistake.
Step 4: Answer the questions and review row filters
AI asks about anything it could not settle and proposes filters for rows that look archived or closed to sale. Review the suggested row filters before continuing, or stale records enter your catalogue.
Step 5: Preview and run the import
The preview step shows how many products, variants and new forms will be created. On confirmation the import runs in the background and the result step gives you the summary.

Tips
Try a small file first
Importing a 20-row sample and checking the result is far cheaper than undoing a 2,000-row mistake.
Products with no price do not publish
A variant without a price never becomes sellable. Review the catalogue after import and fill in anything left priceless.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I have to use AI?
- No. 'Continue without AI' lets you map the columns by hand; the rest of the import works identically.
- Does a marketplace template spend AI credit?
- No. When the file matches a known marketplace template the column roles are known from the template and analysis costs nothing.
- Will it overwrite existing products?
- The preview step explicitly lists what will be newly created and what will attach to an existing form. Read that list before starting the import.
