Selling downloadable files and licence keys
Upload the file you sell, link it to a variant, build a licence-key pool, and let the store deliver both automatically the moment payment clears.
The digital products plugin sells two things: downloadable files (PDF, audio, video, installer) and licence keys. The moment payment completes, the file goes out on a time-limited, count-limited link and a key is assigned from the pool — no shipment, no label, no tracking number is ever created. One distinction matters: it is the VARIANT that is digital, not the product, so the hardback and the e-book edition of the same title can sit side by side.

Step 1: Upload the file you sell
Ürünler → Dijital ürünler lists the files your store sells; with nothing uploaded it reads 'Henüz dijital dosya yüklenmedi'. Press Dosya yükle to send the file. Each row shows the file, type, size, linked products and upload date — a row reading 'Bağlı değil' is uploaded but attached to no variant, and therefore cannot be sold yet.

Open the product from Ürünler → Tüm Ürünler, expand the variant and find the 'Dijital teslimat' section. Turning on 'Dijital ürün' means this variant needs no shipping, and if the whole basket is digital the checkout never asks for a delivery method at all. Pick the file to deliver, set how many times the customer may download it and how many hours the link stays valid, then press Dosya bağla.

The limit and validity are copied onto the customer at the moment of sale; changing them later does not affect past orders.

If you sell keys, go to Ürünler → Lisans Havuzları and press Havuz oluştur. The pool name is your own label; the linked variant decides which sale hands out a key. The alert threshold notifies you once the remaining keys fall below it. 'Anahtar kalmazsa' forces one of two answers: stop selling (the variant cannot be bought while the pool is empty) or accept the order and assign later (the order goes through and a key is assigned automatically once you add more).

Open the pool and press Anahtar yükle. On the CSV yükle tab you send a CSV or plain-text file with one key per line; keys already in the pool are skipped. On the Desenden üret tab you give a pattern — every X becomes a random character, e.g. XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX — and a count to generate. The panel then reports how many were added and how many duplicates were skipped. Keys appear in the list as available, assigned or revoked.

Open a digital order from Siparişler → Sipariş Listesi and the 'Teslim edilen erişim' section shows lanes for downloadable files and licence keys. Access is granted automatically the moment payment is confirmed — there is no further step for you. If the order is paid and the section is empty the panel says so plainly, and 'Teslimatı yeniden çalıştır' rebuilds only what is missing: nothing already delivered is recreated and no second e-mail is sent.

The lower half of Ürünler → Dijital ürünler is the İndirme Hakları (Download Grants) table: customer, file, remaining allowance, expiry and order. When a row reads 'Süresi doldu' or 'Hakkı bitti' you have three moves. 'Hakkı sıfırla' restarts the download counter and extends the validity; 'Süreyi uzat' only extends the validity and leaves the count alone; 'Bağlantıyı yeniden üret' e-mails the customer a fresh, time-limited link. For security the link is never displayed in the panel.

Tips
The allowance is frozen at the moment of sale
Raising the download allowance or validity on the variant later does not rescue earlier buyers — both values are copied to the customer when the sale happens. For past orders use 'Hakkı sıfırla' or 'Süreyi uzat' on the İndirme Hakları table instead.
Hear about an empty pool before it is empty
A pool with an alert threshold set warns you with 'Lisans havuzu azalıyor' as it drains. Leave the threshold blank and your first warning is the 'Havuz boş' row in the list — by which point, if 'Anahtar kalmazsa' is set to stop selling, sales have already stopped.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I sell a shipped and a digital edition of the same product?
- Yes. The digital switch lives on the variant: the hardback variant ships, the e-book variant downloads. Shipping is only skipped when the ENTIRE basket is digital — a single physical line brings the delivery step back.
- What happens if I delete an uploaded file?
- Products linked to it can no longer be delivered, and download rights already granted stop working — the delete dialog says exactly that. To publish a new edition, upload the new file and change the variant's chosen file rather than deleting the old one.
- If the keys run out, is the order lost?
- That depends on the pool's 'Anahtar kalmazsa' setting. Set to stop selling, the variant cannot be bought while the pool is empty. Set to accept and assign later, the order goes through and a key is assigned and e-mailed automatically the moment you load more.
